1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that websites or services may store in your browser. Related technologies, such as local storage, may also be used to remember information. Separate from cookies, a request to a website or a map service can reveal technical data such as an IP address.

2. Our website

The Kangrong public website application does not intentionally create first-party tracking cookies or persistent browser identifiers. Ordinary site features such as menu navigation and product filters operate without application-managed persistent storage. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request data independently of browser cookies.

3. Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated page traffic. According to Vercel’s published documentation, this service is designed to work without cookies and does not provide Kangrong with individually identifiable browsing profiles. Requests to analytics endpoints still involve network metadata. The actual deployed configuration should be verified against this notice.

4. Maps and third-party services

Our worldwide Contact Us page displays Google Maps, while the China Contact Us page automatically loads Baidu Maps without a separate click. Map services receive browser requests that may contain IP addresses and other technical data. During an October 2026 fresh-browser-session check, Baidu-related BAIDUID and BAIDUID_BFESS cookies appeared on entering the China Contact page, followed by ab_* cookies after scrolling to the map. The exact purposes and behaviour of these cookies require confirmation with the provider. No Google cookies were observed in that test; this does not rule out cookies or other processing in different browsing conditions.

5. Your choices

You can manage cookies and storage through your browser settings and can block third-party content using compatible browser tools. Restricting these features may affect map display. The website does not currently provide a separate cookie-preferences panel; this notice is informational and should not be mistaken for a consent-management tool.

6. Changes and questions
