Tigecycline for Injection Approved by the NMPA

Beijing Rongying Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. has received the Drug Registration Certificate for Tigecycline for Injection issued by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), with the drug approval number NMPA Approval No. H20265029. Rongying Pharmaceutical is the R&D centre of Kangrong Pharmaceutical.

Tigecycline for Injection, available in a 50 mg strength, is indicated for the treatment of patients aged 18 years and older with complicated intra-abdominal infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including Citrobacter freundii, Escherichia coli, and Bacteroides fragilis; complicated skin and soft tissue infections, including those caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA); and community-acquired bacterial pneumonia.

This is Kangrong Pharmaceuticals’ second injection product approved by the NMPA; the first injection product, Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride and Sodium Chloride injection, was approved in 2024.
